Prayer Lake's accommodations feature two lodges, several cabins, RV hook-ups and twenty acres of land to enjoy. We have overnight sleeping facilities for singles, couples, and small retreat groups. We can accommodate more for one-day special events.

We also welcome drop-in visitors for ministry or just those who want to look around! Reservations may be made by calling (225) 492-2281.

Red Cabin
 

This cabin was our first . Built in the
1930’s by a family member, is now used as our main retreat cabin

Rose Cabin
 

The building was donated to

Cyprus Cabin

This Cabin was the first cabin built
with new construction. This cabin was This cabin was built out of Cypress logs milled on site.

Harvest Cabin


The materials and labor was donated. Workers came from different churches.

Lake House

Started with a small building built in the 1800’s. We added a bedroom and kitchen.

Cotton Cabin


Originally this cabin was the Cotton Gin office, located on the Mounger Plantation.

Magnolia Cabin

1902 this cabin was used by Minnie Green as a home on the Mounger Plantation. We moved the building in the 1960’s for our milking shed, because Joy wanted to milk a cow. The decision was made to convert this building to a beautiful cabin for Prayer Lake.
